Why it's worth checking out
Cheewa Aroma sits on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn, one of Melbourne's well-heeled inner-eastern suburbs, on a busy strip lined with shops, cafes and the nearby train station. It specialises in remedial Thai massage — the firm, restorative, stretch-based bodywork people turn to when tension, training or a long week has taken its toll.
The focus on remedial work is part of the appeal: this is massage with a genuine therapeutic purpose, not just a quick rub-down, in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. For locals across Hawthorn and Melbourne's inner east, it's become a trusted place to unwind and recover.
A perfect 5.0 rating across more than 400 reviews is genuinely uncommon and a strong sign of skilled, consistent treatment and a well-run studio. Treatment types, durations and pricing do change, and good slots in a popular studio book out, so it's worth checking current details and reserving directly before you go — particularly if you're after a specific style of massage or a weekend appointment.
