Fairview Park

Fairview Park sits on Fairview Street in Hawthorn, a leafy, established inner-eastern suburb of Melbourne. A much-loved local park, it's a lovely green space — combining open lawns, mature trees, walking paths and a relaxed setting, the kind of pleasant, family-friendly park that's a genuine local favourite for some time outdoors.

The appeal is that combination of open green space and a lovely leafy setting: room to walk, picnic, relax and enjoy the outdoors, all in a convenient Hawthorn location. It's a beloved spot for families, dog walkers and anyone after a stroll, a picnic or some peaceful time outdoors in the inner east.

With a 4.7 rating from more than 330 reviews, it's clearly a well-loved community space. The park is free and open, but facilities and any events vary, so it's worth taking sun protection on a warm day and checking the surrounds before a special trip — though for a walk, a picnic or some time outdoors, you can generally just turn up and enjoy Fairview Park in Hawthorn.
