Why it's worth checking out

Main Yarra Trail Park sits along the Main Yarra Trail in Richmond, one of Melbourne's lively inner-eastern suburbs, by the Yarra River. A near-perfect 4.8 rating from 10 reviews reflects its standing as a much-loved spot.

The appeal is a beautiful riverside setting with an easy trail connection — a park along the popular Main Yarra Trail with lovely water and green surrounds, a genuine favourite for a walk, a run, a ride or simply relaxing by the river close to the city. It's a lovely, free outing.

Riverside parks and trails have changing conditions and seasonal considerations, so check current details before you go. Otherwise it's a free spot to enjoy whenever the weather's good — bring sun protection, water and comfortable shoes.

Spot Score

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.8 from 10 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
