Talk To Me is a late-night bar on Commercial Road in South Yarra, Melbourne, with a nightlife-focused atmosphere and a setting designed for lingering. The venue describes itself as a place for quiet drinks, catch-ups, dates and longer nights, with a dancefloor and disco-ball setting adding energy as the evening progresses.

Originally founded by Australian music duo Peking Duk, the bar draws on South Yarra’s nightlife culture while combining subtle New York influence with Asian-inspired touches. The result is a venue that aims to feel familiar but not ordinary, whether you are dropping in for a drink or making an evening of it.

Groups of up to nine can walk in without a booking. Larger gatherings can be arranged through the functions team, with several spaces available: the full venue accommodates up to 120 people, the courtyard up to 60, and the mezzanine up to 25. The mezzanine is an elevated lounge, while the courtyard provides a private outdoor area for medium-sized events.

Talk To Me is open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 6pm until late. From Sunday to Thursday, the venue operates for private functions only. It suits date nights, catch-ups and group celebrations more than a family-style outing, with its late-night focus and event spaces central to the experience.
