Why it's worth checking out

The Heaven Lounge sits on Sydney Road in Brunswick, one of Melbourne's most vibrant inner-north strips. Specialising in Japanese head spa and massage, it taps into a treatment that's surged in popularity for its meticulous, deeply relaxing, ritual-like approach to scalp and hair care — paired with massage for a complete unwinding experience.

The appeal is that focused specialty: rather than offering a bit of everything, it concentrates on doing the Japanese head spa and massage exceptionally well, which is clearly resonating. Set on bustling Sydney Road, it's an easy and indulgent escape from the buzz just outside the door.

A perfect 5.0 rating across more than 330 reviews is genuinely uncommon and a strong sign of skilled, consistent, attentive service. Treatment options, durations, opening hours and pricing vary, and a specialist studio works on bookings with the popular slots filling up, so it's well worth checking current details and reserving the specific treatment you want directly before you visit — particularly for a weekend appointment.

Spot Score

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 5.0 from 334 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
