Why it's worth checking out
Treasury Gardens sits on Lansdowne Street in East Melbourne, a lovely leafy area right beside the CBD. A strong 4.7 rating from 10 reviews reflects its standing as a much-loved green space.
The appeal is a beautiful, leafy garden close to the city — one of Melbourne's lovely formal gardens with tree-lined paths, lawns and a pond, a genuine favourite for a stroll, a picnic, a rest or simply relaxing outdoors right by the city centre. It's a lovely, free outing.
Gardens have changing facilities and seasonal conditions, so check current details if you're planning around something specific. Otherwise it's a free, family-friendly spot to enjoy whenever the weather's good — bring sun protection, water and comfortable shoes.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.7 from 10 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
