Saboteurs

Saboteurs brings the social-deduction format of Among Us into a real-life indoor game space at Shop 1, 101 Waterfront Way in Docklands, next to The Wheel. Players take on the role of crew members or impostors, completing tasks, watching for suspicious behaviour and voting on who they think is sabotaging the group. Additional roles, including Jester and Sheriff, add extra possibilities to the game. An induction explains how it works, and a staff member joins the session to help players get the most from the experience.

There are two main game settings. The Original Map is designed as an accessible starting point for families, children and adults, while the Dark Map uses a foggier, lower-visibility environment to make identifying impostors more difficult. Both are built around teamwork, strategy and bluffing rather than virtual reality: players move through a physical game space, with the venue describing it as similar to a film set. The experience is indoors and walkthrough-based, so visitors should wear closed-toe shoes and expect to stay on their feet rather than sit.

A regular session runs for 40 minutes, including a 10-minute induction and 30 minutes of gameplay. The venue says a typical session includes three rounds, and players can bundle a second session for a longer experience. Regular sessions accommodate one to 15 players, making Saboteurs suitable for joining with friends, bringing the family or organising a larger outing. The site also promotes private games for groups of seven or more, along with children’s birthdays, family events, adult parties, hens and bucks celebrations, and corporate team-building activities. Birthday and event packages run for two hours and include time in a party room.

Saboteurs is a practical choice for groups looking for an activity that encourages communication and playful competition, rather than a conventional sightseeing stop. The Original Map is listed for children from age six and adults, while the Dark Map is aimed at children from age 10 and adults; the venue also lists late Happy Hour sessions for guests aged 16 and over. General admission does not include food or drinks, although the Docklands precinct has nearby cafés and restaurants. Tickets must be purchased through the Fever app or website, and guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes before their booked session, as late entry is not permitted.
